Exported from Uganda
Ugandan coffee, avocado, pineapple and matooke for India
Indhows takes premium Ugandan produce to buyers in India. We work with producers and exporters in Uganda, and with importers, roasters and distributors in India.

What we export
Four crops, and what to tell us

Coffee
Uganda's best-known export crop. Tell us the type, grade, screen size and volume.

Avocado
Tell us the variety, size, packing and the volume per shipment.

Pineapple
Tell us the variety, size, fresh or dried, and the volume per shipment.
- Matooke
Matooke
The East African highland cooking banana. Tell us fresh or processed, and the volume.
Paperwork for produce
Fresh and processed produce needs more paperwork than manufactured goods. Each shipment usually needs:
- a phytosanitary certificate from Uganda's agriculture ministry, showing the produce is free of pests and disease;
- a certificate of origin, which is also what lets Indian customs apply a lower duty;
- a commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading or airway bill;
- any import permit and food-safety clearance the Indian buyer must obtain.
Requirements change by crop and season. We confirm them for each shipment before you commit.
