Before you import
Rules and costs to plan for
- These goods fall under Uganda's pre-export inspection programme (PVoC) when they are covered by a compulsory standard. A shipment worth US$2,000 or more then needs a Certificate of Conformity issued in India before it sails.
- Tiles and sanitary ware are heavy and fragile. Your quotation covers export packing and how breakage is handled under the supplier's policy.
- Import duty depends on the product's tariff code. Many finished goods fall in the 25% band. We confirm the rate in your quotation.
